The Hospital Administrator, Wellpath Consultant functions under the direct supervision of the governing board. He/she provides leadership and directs the overall operation of the hospital consistent with the policies and objectives of the governing board. In this regard, they plan, organize, applies, directs, controls and evaluates all resources (human resources, facilities, equipment, capital, and similar resources) invested in the hospital. They shall use all resources to generate measurable returns to benefit the company, the community, the physicians, and most of all, the persons served.
- Master's degree in a mental health or administrative discipline preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in an administrative or management position comparable to an executive staff level role in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
Administrative management or supervisory experience providing service to persons with psychiatric disabilities.

ResponsibilitiesThe Hospital Administrator, Wellpath Consultant develops short and long range management and organization plans to define responsibilities and business activities consistent with hospital goals, objectives and philosophies.Develops annual management plan for the hospital.Ensures the provision of adequate services through the acquisition, utilization, and organization of available resources (human, financial, and physical) and the development of improved techniques and practices.Consults with relevant personnel and departments prior to recommending/establishing new policies and availability of resources to implement care.Directs the activities and conduct of the Executive Management Group relative to financial operations, Human Resources, Administrative Services, Clinical Operations, Quality Management, Risk Management, and Patient Advocacy.Acts as liaison between the governing board, medical staff and hospital departments.Establishes and attends meetings to provide pertinent information related to hospital operations and the provision of quality services.Interprets public policy, economic developments and public opinion in meeting organizational goals.Participates in hospital associations and healthcare professional organizations.Provides ongoing support and ensures staff adheres to organization's Code of Conduct.Adheres to Wellpath Code of Conduct.Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.Perform other duties as assigned.
